“รอยต่อของเวลา” กับ “ วิสัยทัศน์” ของเมือง

ในโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลา การทุบทำลายอาคารเก่าเพื่อแทนที่ด้วยสิ่งปลูกสร้างใหม่ไม่เพียงเกิดขึ้นด้วยเหตุผลทางเศรษฐกิจ แต่ยังสะท้อน “วิสัยทัศน์” ของเมือง โดยเฉพาะคนกลุ่มที่ถือเป็นชนชั้นพิเศษของเมือง

แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็มีทัศนะชวนคิดเกิดขึ้นคือ “ความยั่งยืนที่แท้คือการสร้างสิ่งใหม่ให้น้อยที่สุด” (จริงหรือ) โดยแนวคิดนี้ไม่เพียงหมายถึงโครงการก่อสร้างใหม่ๆ ที่มีขนาดใหญ่ แต่ยังหมายถึงเมืองหลวงต่างๆ ที่อัดแน่นไปด้วยประชากร

เหนืออื่นใด “รอยต่อของเวลา” ที่เราสังเกตได้ผ่านโฉมหน้าของเมืองต่างๆ มักสะท้อนความต้องการการเป็นอยู่ที่เป็นสุขในเมืองที่มีสิ่งต่างๆ ครบครัน “อย่างพอดี” ซึ่งมีความ “ปกติสุข” ของชาวเมืองเป็นเป้าหมาย

The collision of times and the vision of a city

In the ever-changing world, demolitions of old buildings for new construction projects are not only meant to serve economic demands, but also reflecting the “vision” of a city, particularly speaking, of the city’s privileged people.

Meanwhile, an appalling query has been raised and might be worth debating - “Does genuine sustainability mean building the least new stuffs?”. This doesn’t only involve new large scale constructions, but also typical populated cities.

Above all, the “collision of times” that we notice through the city’s personality could reflect the crave for a blissful living in the city where “balance” is achieved, having an “ideal normailty” as the ultimate goal for its people.
